# SCIM 2.0 private beta

> Provision enterprise workspace users with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID.

SCIM provisioning is available to approved enterprise workspaces. It uses a
dedicated bearer token that is separate from DataVibe governance API keys.

## Before you begin

* Ask DataVibe support to enable SCIM for the workspace.
* Confirm the identity provider and tenant with your workspace owner.
* Store the generated SCIM token in the identity provider's secure app
  configuration.

## Supported lifecycle

The private beta supports user provisioning and deprovisioning through the
workspace SCIM endpoint. Test changes with a non-production user before enabling
automatic assignment for a group.

<Warning>
  Do not reuse a `dv_live_` governance API key as a SCIM token. Rotate the SCIM
  credential independently if it is exposed.
